Hurricane Season is June 1 - November 30

This year the National Weather Service is predicting a "below-normal" season for tropical cyclones. While the first tropical storm of the year came a little early-- in May Tropical Depression Ana hit the Grand Strand-- the NWS expects a 70% chance of up to two major hurricanes in 2015.
